Greenwing addition

Greenwing is a program for kids. I think it is 17 and younger. It is still Ducks Unlimited, but is for the "junior members".

And now, thanks to Codger :grumpy: , I have to keep my eyes open for a Greenwing 106OT.

AaaahhhhhSooooo !
Thanks Mtnwind. Every lil bit of info helps. From your pic looks like the oversized shield will have greenwing on it too.
Youngsters eh? Guess mature Ducks say the kids are still "green behind the wings" which was shortened to greenwings.
Couldn't very well use "still wet behind the ears" for young ducks now, could they?? ;)

Picked this up on Ebay last night. Looks like this Greenwing never got an etch or serial number. I surmise it was one that never got formally released from the Ellenville factory. Since 36OT seems to be a tough pattern to find at a reasonable price, I went ahead and took this BIN. At least now I have a nice 36OT for my collection, and I like the stockman patterns with a punch. There was one like this posted earlier in the year with OLD TIMER on the shield, no etch, but did have a serial number. No one can ever accuse Schrade as being too standardized.

I saw that one, and thought about snatching it, along with a couple others, but I waited till after work, then "poof"..... they were gone. Good grab.

There was already an offer on the table so I took it at full price. Thought is was a good deal.

Just nabbed another Greenwing, NIB 707 #0595, for about $32 with shipping. I really thought these would be selling for more, but I'm glad their not.
