Hi im Terisa Sherpa. Im visting my aunt Yangdu and grandfather at Reno. I will be here for a week. While I'm here I'm learning about the khukuri's and see what aunt yangdu does everyday.
Ever since I was little girl my grandfather used to take me to the khukuri factory with him. I wached kami's making khukuris and I really love their work.

When aunt yangdu retires (which would be a long time from now) hopefully I will be able to continue the H.I khukuri buisness and help kami's and their families back home at Nepal.

My aunt Yangdu is a very special lady and perhaps I can learn more from her. My grandfather is also a very good kind man and I had been with him since I was born.
I'm 13 years old and I live with my parents at New York. I'm going to the 8th grade this new school year.

Terisa please tell Yangdu that you need to get your own user name. Everytime we see Yandu's name pop up everyone goes into shark mode for the DOTD. :D:D

Aunty did say she wasn't going to be posting any Deals while her family was visiting.... I didn't realize she meant she was going to have her protege doing it for her ;)

That said, welcome Terisa! You should get your Aunty to make you an account - perhaps even pull some strings and get you to be a moderator :p Glad to see Himalayan Imports will still be around when I get out of college, get a better paying job and can actually afford more than the occasional HI product! Woah - it will probably even be around to feed my HIKV by the time I'm an old man! :thumbup:

Glad to see the future of H.I. is assured. Enjoy your stay at Reno and keep it up in school. High School will come soon after 8th grade, and college if you choose to go... and damn time will fly by. Make the best of it and have fun too.

Welcome to the Forum. I'm glad that you and your parents were able to visit with your Aunt and Grandfather. Have a good time. Too soon you'll be back at the books and homework. It is good to hear that you plan to be the future of HI. If that is the case then I'm sure that we'll hear from you again.
