I am a brand new member and wanted to say Howdy, so Howdy! Question: I built my own belt grinder 2x42 and I am looking for a contact wheel either an 8" or 10" for a 5/8" arbor. Any suggestions where I can obtain one or a caster supplier that has one that could be modified would be appreciated.

Welcome to BFC curtis. In time I hope you enjoy this place at least as much as I do.

I am going to move this over to the shop-talk forum. The makers there are incredible when it comes to helping each other out.

Curtis,

Call me Gus (Gus Kalanzis).

Rusty, Thank you! Looking forward to meeting you next year in Bastidville at Blade.

Welcome, Curtis. Glad you came. Tracy Mickley (usaknifemaker) sells good contact wheels. He puts out plans for a DIY no-weld 2x72 grinder and carries many of the parts. I think Rob Frink at Beaumont also carries some.
