Hi everyone,
I’m Deepak Sunar, writing from Nepal — the land of the legendary kukri. I’m the founder of Everest Forge, where we hand-forge traditional and custom blades, including kukris, survival knives, machetes, swords, and more, using time-honored techniques passed down through generations of Nepali bladesmiths.
Our workshop is based in Kathmandu, and all our blades are made by skilled local blacksmiths. Each piece is forged with functionality in mind — whether it’s for bushcraft, heavy chopping, martial arts, or collecting.
While the kukri is central to our heritage, we also forge fantasy-inspired and historical blades, and offer full customization — blade thickness, handle material, engraving, and more.
We’ve been quietly building up a following through our site EverestForge.com and now wanted to introduce ourselves to the amazing community here. I'm excited to learn from other makers and enthusiasts and also happy to answer questions about kukris, forging techniques, or Nepalese blade culture.
Looking forward to connecting with fellow blade lovers from around the world.
Warm regards,
Deepak Sunar
