Just wanted to say hello. I've been enjoying reading the threads here for quite a while, and thought it might be time to get involved. Like most of you, I'm sort of a knife or knife/gun junkie, and am always looking forward to my next one. I've got several ESEE (Formerly RAT) knives, and always find myself coming back to them for their simplicity, ruggedness, and effective cutting.

Welcome!

Welcome!

Now THAT is funny! I don't care who you are! :D

Some of this time has been spent in Iraq where I didn't have a computer. I'm just now getting back to camping and hiking with my kids. I'll admit that 5 years may be a bit long to have waited, though.

Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome Double Action (if that is your "real" name), it took me a year before I came out of the closet. :o I am not ashamed to admit I am an ESEE/RAT addict. There, I said it! Now, it's your turn! Repeat after me ........:D

Welcome. Always nice to see another knife and gun nut in this world....there should be more of us.:D

Hi. I'm Steve, and I'm an addict.

Whew! 1st step out of the way, and only 11 more to go. Before you start handing me a chip, though, you should know I ordered another RC 4 today! :D

Actually, 22 more posts here to becoming a RAT Pack member! Only then, you will have obtained true enlightenment of your pending condition!

Welcome. I'm also from the sooner state. BOOMER!!!!

I'll throw you a SOONER, even though I'm more of a Pokes fan! Love the mountain bike trail near you at Lake Murray!

Show us some pics of your knife collection when you have more time, thanks.

I'll do that, although it leans heavily toward Bark Rivers and Blind Horses at the moment. My RATs are holding up their end, in spite of being outnumbered.

:D Welcome to the most sane place you'll ever find. (as long as you don't look to hard that is)

Sooner! Boomer! Sooner! Boomer!, :grumpy: I spent a week at OU a little over a year ago, I enjoyed the trip, :D just not the repeated chanting. The only thing I didn't like about the part of OK where I was, was 1.) no mountains, I was like a fish outta water, and 2.) no Sweet tea, seriously I went to some fancy diners, we had one AD Air Force female Gen. come talk to us, and I couldn't covertly add enough sugar to my unsweet tea, we also had a ret. USAF Gen., another female and the first Native American (or maybe first female native american) general come and talk to us.

Good to see another Okie! I just ordered my first rat today from KSF, a great Oklahoma company.

Boomer Sooner!

Looks like the Okie Rats are gaining momentum.

The only thing I didn't like about the part of OK where I was, was 1.) no mountains, I was like a fish outta water, once it gets flat, it stays that way 'til the rockies. s/e oklahoma got most of the hills

and 2.) no Sweet tea, seriously I went to some fancy diners, we had one AD Air Force female Gen. come talk to us, and I couldn't covertly add enough sugar to my unsweet tea i've never understood that one, either... it's almost useless to add sugar to cold tea

welcome, double action! what part of the state are you in?
