Hi Everyone -

I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. On the forums I go by “mtnfolk”. In real life I am Wayne Jarrett owner of Jarrett Knives LLC in the mountains of Colorado. I’ve hung out over on Knet for quite a while but it's been slow there lately so I thought I'd see what's going on over here. I’m a proud member of the Professional Knifemakers Association (PKA) www.proknifemakers.com. I've been making knives since 1995 and just went full time. Yes, I know, what great timing, huh? I was laid off from my 25 year career in the electronic security industry in February and figured there is no time like the present to turn lemons into lemonade.

I also want to invite everyone on Bladeforums to visit my brand new web site at www.jarrettknives.com. If you visited my old site you’ll see that the new one is much more modern and informative. I’ll be listing a few of my available knives in the knifemakers “for sale” sections tomorrow so please take a look at that as well. I look forward to becoming an active participant on Bladeforums if you’ll have me.

Mr. Jarrett,
Welcome to our little, but growing group!

Hi Wayne, welcome to BF. I'm no maker (someday..) but there is a ton of good info and even better folks at this site. Don't hesitate to post pics in the gallery area or in the knifemakers "for sale" thread if you are looking to unload a few. I'll visit your website as soon as I'm done posting.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Scott, it will be nice to be a part of that 'growing group'. And Gazz, I should have some stuff up there tomorrow. Let me know your thought on my new site. Take care and God bless.

One thing about your site, I clicked on your photos, and when I hit the x in the screen, it closed your site. I was hoping the x would bring me back to the previous page, or have the pictures open in a new window.
