Custom 5" Lightfoot Woodsman - SOLD!

Clearing out the safe queens. I have had this knife for over a year and have not used it, despite the great design. The 5" blade is one inch longer than the standard Woodsman and is meant to be an all-purpose camp knife. The blade steel is not marked, but I asked for S30V so assume that is what it is. Handle is elk bone. It costs $500 and is in new, unused condition.

Obenauf Small Model 2 - Price Drop to SOLD! including PayPal and CONUS shipping

I think this is one of the best tactical folders out there and will probably be kicking myself for this sale years from now. Unfortunately, it has sat unused for over a year so I am looking to sell it to a better home where it will get some pocket and cutting time. Blade is 3" of S30V, titanium bolster and framelock, carbon fiber handles with single thumb stud.

Please , what is the blade thickness of the Lightfoot Woodsman ,

and it seems there is a false edge (or a swedge) ground on one side only, am I right ?

Thank you;

ELDE

I get about 4.8mm when I measure the blade thickness or 3/16". The swedge grind is only on one side of the blade. I attempted to take a spine shot, but it did not turn out well.

IIRC, Greg's standard Woodsman has a blade just over 4", is made from a different steel, starts at $450 with the elk handle and has a several month waiting period.

This model is a custom 5" one with a different steel and cost $500. It is brand new and unused. I received the knife and it has been in storage ever since, hence the sale.

Price drop to $410 each

Will trade for Strider SNG-GG with green handle and stonewashed blade.
