What's the secret with the vacuum bottle??? I have a vacuum sealer and some bottles. If you cure wood in a vacuum, does it not check????

Hey Bro
Yup, the haft is dyed with leather dye and the wrap is Jute dyed and laid in carpenters glue then coated on glue as well.
You have to fill the vacume bottle with crazy glue which i'm trying to find in gallons ;-(. You drop the dry knife scales into the glue (maybe thinned) seal the jar, turn on the pump, and when the wood stops bubbling it's stable. Or so they say ;-)
The vacume can also be used to force dye deep into bone. Got your mail Bro.

The kind of work I do on my vehicle is duct tape my parking light back in place, any other problems are dealt with by kicking it.:D Leather, steel, wood I can deal with, trucks and cars not so much. Replied to your mail Bro.
