Greybush ripped us off.

I've sent him PMs. Moose has emailed him. Bladite has spoken with him.
I haven't heard a peep back, and so far, none of the claims made to Moose and Bladite have born fruit.
I sincerely hope he gets his act together and squares up these deals ASAP.

"some stuff going on" can happen to anyone and prevent them from sending items as promised. No excuse for not refunding money though - only takes a few minutes and a couple keyboard clicks, and a friend or family member could do it for him.

If you guys paid via PayPal, you have 45 days to file a claim. Go ahead and do it now, you can always close the claim if the knives show up.

I never understand why personal issues is an explanation when failing to perform in a business transaction.

If Greybush is in a position where he physically cant deliver, giving back the money is the honorable thing to do.

i'm not even sure if he's in a physical position to be able to get into his own house... but he did promise to get the packages out on the 1st...

so... will try calling him again.

Unless a person is unconscious in a hospital or dead, they can always figure out a way to contact someone to whom they owe money or goods - if they want to.

I agree, but I also know that another person's shoes can be an entirely different universe.
There are folks working on this matter, and I think Greybush is going to pull through and make good. I hope I'm right.

I also am waiting on a knife from him

I e-mailed and PM'ed several times--and nothing--IN OVER A MONTH

I understand falling on hard times--but that does not remove you from being a man of honor and either sending the knives or refunding the $$

Any update here? I got second-hand intel last week that Greybush shipped the knives.
If people have received their items, I would appreciate it if that information got added to this thread.

He should have made good by now.

This is unacceptable, and steps will be taken.

Moose

well, i called and called and called. used two methods. emailed and emailed.

nada.

i'm sure he's bumming and out of it but well... ya gotta do what you gotta do...

and the mods gotta do what they gotta do...

and the customers will cancel their checks and/or pursue paypal measures.

so it goes...

Yeah, it is looking like a text message communication was just a red herring.
If the stuff doesn't show up by Tuesday (Monday's a holiday), I think it may be a lost cause.

He was online today at three. He's got one week to make good.

This makes me weary, ive been searching this forum hoping to find my next fixed blade. Hate to see this.

I'm willing to give him until this Friday.

One bad apple, doean't mean you have to disregard the entire forum. The other 99.9% are solid.

his claim is that his daughter has his tablet, and the homepage is bladeforums. so, whenever she uses it, his status will get updated. he doesn't appear to have been near here in a month in actual. but that's his claim last i heard.

will try calling him AGAIN...

i've been buying and selling on here for months, years, even more than a decade++ now, and as far as i know, never had a problem, and had some great experiences.

Wow, hate to hear this about Greybush. Hope things work out ok.

This is true, we really have some solid people here that are a pleasure to deal with.

No. When I first moved here and my computer wasn't set up, I strolled down to the library most days, read a few magazines. used one of their computers, and spend a half hour to an hour on line, visiting a few websites. There are ways to get in touch.

He's supposed to be shipping knives? He's got addresses? He's got money for a stamp?
