Hi, I'm David White, I'm the Maker of Griffin Tactical Knives. I started making knives at the age of 12. I began in earnest at 14 when local knifemaker Mike Wilson offered to get me started. I've been at it for 16 years now. I have had the opportunity to learn from knifemaking greats such as the late George Herron, Jerry Hossom, James Poplin and others. I have collaborated with Doug Ritter, President and Founder of Knife Rights on the CRKT MK5 and MK6. I recently joined forces with friend and fellow knife designer Joe Teti, Special Operations Veteran and Co-Star of the Discovery Channel "Dual Survival." My knives have been featured on "Dual Survival" Season 4, in "Tactical Knives," "Blade Magazine," "Backpacker," "Channel 62 the CW," and other public appearances.

This is the Special Ops Multipurpose Knife as seen on "Dual Survival" Season 4. It was designed by David White and Joe Teti for the Elite Operator or Survivalist, the Special Ops Multipurpose Knife will perform flawlessly in the harshest environment, ideal either for combat or survival. It was designed so the the handles can be removed for Paracord to be woven through, ideal for creating a spear or hacking tool.

Thanks Bill! I appreciate the complement and you steering me to BladeForums and helping me get set up!

Bill's knives are incredible...his attention to detail is second to none and Damascus is superb!

Please bare with me as I figure out how to use BladeForums.

Welcome to the forums! That's a very clean and utilitarian looking knife. I look forward to seeing more of your work and your input here.

That's a cool knife. When I saw Joe using it on the first episode of most recent season I had a hard time finding out who made it. Nice work. I'm sure this knife will never compromise the mission.
