This was a grail knife for me for years prior to me ever even touching one. When I finally did, after years of building up anticipation, it held up to all of my expectations, and then some. I never had any intent of ever getting rid of this knife, but my name was selected again in the Grimsmo’s Buyer’s Choice lottery. Nobody needs more than one perfect knife in their collection, so it’s sadly time to let one go.
Scales are gold anodized stonewashed titanium with blue anodized body screws and thumb stud. The knife is immaculate, it’s never been carried and it’s never been used to cut anything, not even paper. The blade is perfectly centered and has absolutely NO lock stick. The lock bar slides off the tang of the blade with no resistance whatsoever. Perfectly flush mounted captured pivot hardware, dual stop pin technology to ensure perfect blade stopping in both the open and closed positions, and a 100% totally fall shutting blade from any direction. The blade almost defies gravity when it flips open from any angle, and then drops shut with absolutely NO hand wiggle or shake whatsoever. Just slide the lock bar over and stay out of its way. The detent is dialed in so precisely, it is effectively impossible to fail the blade from opening with a single depress of the flipper tab.
This knife is in A+ condition, in exactly the same condition as the day that I bought it. Its new in box, never used or carried, lived as a safe queen from day one, came out for pictures, then right back in. Comes with all of its original packing, COA, wrench, full tube of Nano-Oil, all packed in its original mini-Pelican style case.
The condition of this knife is “perfect” and it has spent its entire life locked in a safe. I am asking $750 for this safe queen, from which I am responsible for the PayPal G&S fees, as well as shipping to the Continental USA, insurance and signature verification charges.
