Well the Norseman (and Shiros) seem to be the gold standard when it comes to action, build quality and FnF. So why shouldn't they price them accordingly? The secondary market see's a small price hike, which is to be expected. I've been following John and Eric for years. I scored a pair of their Ti Para II scales way back then. I've never owned one of their knives until now. Admittedly I know I won't carry this. For one thing I prefer a small EDC, but also I'd just be too paranoid to know I have a thousand dollar knife in my pocket all the time. But I had to jump on it.

Here she is. Should have it in a few days.

I had no idea these were now $900 from them directly. Wow.

Has this had an effect on the secondary market prices?

I haven’t looked too much into the secondary market on these, but from what I’ve seen I would probably be able to at least get my money back if I did want to sell. I don’t intend to though since this is the nicest knife I own, and since I just broke the tip off my Sebenza a couple days ago like an idiot, even more so now.

Looks great! Carry it anyways, you only live once. I must say though, I’ve accidentally cut myself once or twice due to the blade shape and there being an edge on the front where you tend to not expect one to be. Just small knicks, but still. It’s a larger blade than I previously carried too, so that might also have something to do with it. Like those PM II scales as well btw.
