Grinder Motor ?

I am concidering buying a new motor for my Wilton Square Wheel. I want to change to a variable speed. I have read about the Leeson Variable Speed DC motor and controller. Does any one have experience with this set up? The lowest price I have found is around $600.00 for the kit of motor, controller & wiring kit. I would appreciate any info on this setup or any others anyone has experience with and alos the costs.

These kits come with complete instructions and any one who can understand simple electrical theory can hook one up. The only thing to keep in mind is to get the motor and controller matched re amperage requirements. There are different controllers for each motor HP rating.
