Grinder question

I have a grinder question. Currently I am using a 1x30 inch Harbor Freight cheapo. I would like to upgrade but I am wondering if anybody makes a kit to convert one side of my bench grinder to a belt grinder?? It has a 3/4 horse 3200 RPM motor so It seems like a logical idea..I love making knives but I dont have a lot of money to do it...Any Ideas???thanks

I suggest you do a quick ebay search though. You can buy a new grinder with sander kit for cheaper I think.

Where are you located? There may be a maker near you who would be willing to help out with a grinder build, or sell you an older, but better-quality machine.
