Well I got to profile and grind a bevel on one blade and grind out the handle shape and clean up the tang edges on the handles. I used to have so much trouble getting the edges there clean with out burn marks, especialy where the finger choil area. I am just impressed on how much better I got it to look. I didn't have any ripples or bumps on the spine that I got with my aluminum wheel on the craftsman. Like some one said it was like night and day. I think I cut my time about 35 or 45% on the handle shaping and clean up. This so awesome. I love knifemaking even more now. Ok thats enough of the love fest.

Congrats on the new baby Frank. If I ever get good at this game I look forward to getting a real grinder myself.

That sounds good Frank.Yesterday,I just got my my stuff from Tracy, for my NWG.For the last 2 years,I have been grinding{sanding} on a Sears 4x36,everyone says that it will be like night and day.I ordered some belts from Pop's last week,he said I would be steeping out of the ''Stone Age''.I'm looking forward to getting it going.

God bless,Keith

poor Pancho , I tried to warn you and save you from that grinder by letting me by it . You are in trouble now . Next comes the heat treat oven and of course you will need a milling machine for those guards you have to make . Quench tanks and quenching oils . Next you will want a forge and on and on and on . :D :D :D
