I sold all my stuff to buy a car a couole years ago, but I am starting my dream job and looking to get back to work making sharp things. While looking for a grinder, I found "Grindermasters" on Amazon. It looks to be a home made type build, complete with wheels and pully go $570. Has anyone else seen this? I am a gambling man, so I'm tempted to snatch one up.

From Russia with love? They have a website and a video on youtube . Somebody got to be first . Amazon may not be much help if problems arise - its a not a "fulfillment by Amazon" item .

I'll check out the video when I get home. I was looking to build one, but I would be willing to give this a shot. Depending on shipping. I forget the name, but a swear i saw a decent U.S. made 2x72 minus motor for about $800 a couple weeks ago. I'll have to ask Dr. Google to be sure.

ETA: Northridge Tool for 800. Everything minus motor.

"Northridge Tool for 800" - is this not a better deal for $525 shipped? http://www.ebay.com/itm/252241738033? Looks like everything but motor & drive wheel. Add $40 for drive wheel, and around $275 or so for VFD and 2hp motor and you've got a nice setup..... hmmmm, items add up pretty quick, that brings total to almost $850!!

The "Grindermasters" has pulleys 'n shaft that need removing to mount motor as direct drive.

I like the pulley. I have a 2 hp motor, so i could get running quicker with pulleys.
