I was just out in the shop grinding the 6AL4V TI liners for a new folder when something occoured to me,
can TI lose its springy temper if it's allowed to get too hot? Is it a temper that makes 6AL4V springy or is that just an inharant property that you cant mess with?

Any advice apprieciated

Thanks George,
I knew about the sparks, when I first bought the TI from Jim Downie one of the first thing he warned me about was fires.
