Grinding Your Own Rescue Hook

Hey guys, just wondering: How would you grind your own rescue hook? Do you profile a grinding wheel, or just use a narrow belt with no plate backing to allow it to flex and form the curve? Would you then progressively go smoother and smoother to achieve the edge their known for?

I would think a 1/4" rotary sander or die grinder, followed by a rotary polishing tool.

Rescue hooks and gut hooks are a pita to make and sharpen .That's why makers try to avoid them !! I have a very nice Benchmade one ,I think they make more than one style.
