Grinding

This is a general question about grinding which I wanted to ask after reading other post. How do the majority of you other makers hollow grind, from the spine to the edge or from edge to spine?

I think you gotta go from edge to spine. First set the thickness of the edge and work your way to the spine.

Edge to spine. The other way can give you material for miniatures quickly (at least that is what someone told me )
