Griptilian vs Barrage + Minis vs Full size?

The few I've had either had blade centering issues to the point that they rubbed the scales or had an unacceptable amount of blade play. I've heard from plenty of folks that claim to have never had an issue. I question their "use" of the knife though.

The barrage I had, and I only had the one, for a short time never presented a single issue though.
