I've got both a Griptillian and a Manix 2.
The Griptillian is a better slicer, the blade geometry is fantastic.
However,
The manix is just better built.
It oozes quality, whereas the plastic on the grip just feels cheap.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Griptillian, it's one of my favourite knives, but it's let down by the scales.
The Manix is a little harder to disengage the lock, but it's a solid well made knife that feels as if it'll take a beating and shrug it off.
If I had to choose, I'd probably go with the Manix, although it's a tough call.
Thinking about it, the manix does get more pocket time, it's only edged out by the Para 2.
