Griptilian with a gap between the washer and blade

I’m going to have to try this with my mini Ritter.. Never thought to check the stop pin width as a source of blade play.
 
If you f#¤% up your stop pin, BM will send you another for sure.
 
Yea benchmade has no fit and finish issues. This is all in your head.
 
I got a set of digital calipers today and indeed the top of the liners, near the stop pin was wider than the bottom on my 940. The top measure 170 1/2 thousandths and the bottom measure 164 thousandths. I guess this is enough to cause for a poor action.
 
Sorry I forgot to do an update, got another benchmade 940 from bladehq..... same problem! It's not as bad on this one and I was able to sorta get it to drop freely with no blade play, but I think this is still incorrect. I don't know what to do anymore besides sending it into benchmade and maybe have them fix it
