I admit to being so cheap that I don't want to waste that 1" of paper! Really I got my idea from a "Scary Sharp" that I read somewhere. The basis was to use W & D paper glued to glass instead of stones. As I had some spray glue and paper I tried it the same day and liked the result. You can put any paper with grit still on it away to use later and glue another grit to the back. \
