I have a mini mill from Grizzly and broke a gear. Replacement parts will take 6-8 weeks.Model G8689 part #138
Any body know where 1 might be found??

Maybe a machine shop in your area could make you a gear if you take em the broken one?
 
T.J. See if you can match the parts with an identical Jet, Delta, or Harbor Freight machine. They are mostly made by the same factory in Taiwan, or PRC. You should be able to come up with something.

patternweld is correct. Little Machine Shop carries all replacement parts for your mill.

I was reading the first page from the link above. Very interesting. Here's an excerpt from it.

PS tried the Little Machine shop. The price was 1/2 the grizzly price.
We'll see if they have 1.
 
I've had very good dealings with them.

Keep the stop bar out of the spindle and you won't need to convert to belt drive.

Naww wasn't the stop bar.
I would suggest stopping the mill before raising the head. That way if you go down instead of up it won't be so Disastrous.

Just remember turn the little knob to the right no left just turn off the machine.
PS The little Machine shop shipped my order today.
