Grizzly backorder update...

I called yesterday and spoke with a VERY helpful young lady that advised me that the g1015 is IN STOCK, but at a specific location. I ordered from the internet site, so my order was not from that location. The young lady in question set up a new order for me and cancelled the new one, so I should get my new grinder within a week or so. (happy dance)

So far I can't complain. They said about 4 weeks and I think it's been a little less than that. Consolidated Freight called me yesterday and said the load was in Chicago and they will deliver it on monday. So far so good...

Just picked mine up today at the new Springfield Mo store. Took @ 4 weeks to get it. Can't complain too much about the service.

Now to get the thing up and running!

I ordered mine 0n Feb. 28. They shipped it from Springfield, Mo. on Mar. 27. It arrived in Phoenix @ 0353 hours on Mar. 30. It was supposed to be delivered to my house today, 31 Mar., between 1200 and 1600 hours. It didn't get here today. Too many Teamster breaks I guess. It won't be delivered until Monday. It took 3 days from Springfield, Mo. to Phoenix, Az. and it's going to take at least 4 days to get it from Phoenix to Phoenix. G0 figure.

Gentlemen, you've got it easy!

My order was entered on 10/11/93 at the Bellingham, WA store. I received the grinder on 6/10/94. They claimed they were having "quality control" problems. I was supposed to get 5 free sanding belts for my patience (never did.)

But all in all, I like the grinder. Especially after seeing the tweaks in Alan Blades' videos.
