grnamin

This sounds like an unfortunate situation and maybe sounds like something might have happened that was out of his control. However, I am only guessing and shouldnt try to make excuses for him.

What I can say is that I know Greg, have met him at NY Shows and would be very surprised if you dont have your money returned asap. Please keep us updated.

I'd like to hear the other side of the story as well.

At the very least, the original money order should have been sent back the same day. If he cashed your original M.O., I'd like to know why, especially if the item was no longer available for sale.

Please keep us up to date, alwilliam.

Al, it seems you've decided to use this forum to post a character assassination without getting the facts straight. I've been here a lot longer than you have and I've dealt with the members here just as long. I hold my reputation sacred and will ensure that you get your money back. You were the one who wanted me to send you the laptop prior to receiving funds and I told you that I would rather wait until I did. As I stated in my email to you before you posted here that I'm sending the full amount of your remittance back via USPS express mail and I will reiterate that I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I did have the laptop in hand, but it was taken from my desk where I left it overnight to test it. I offered Al another laptop at half the price, but he has refused it, which is, after all, his prerogative. BTW, Al, I'll include the price of mailing me the payment in the refund you will receive. Additional details: I signed for the money order just today as it was send via registered mail. The post office has a record of that. That's the reason why I haven't been able to turn around and mail it back right away.

I have had multiple dealings with laptops with Greg (grnamin) and I had a more than postive experience each time. He went well out of his way to help me with additional equipment and support.

I give him an AAA++++

I have known Greg (grnamin) almost as long as these forums have existed. Greg is a straitforward honest guy. I have done several transactions with him where on occassions he personally handed to me and trusted me with several knives worth thousands of dollars without requesting prior payment. Although not as visible currently, he has made great contributions to these forums from since its very beginnings. I would not at all hesitate to deal with Greg.

I have dealt with Al William on one occassion. And all went without a hitch. This current situation is one that is much more of fustration than anything else. And understandable. I have personally had great potential deals slip thru my hands where unforseen circumstances dictated so. I' m sure many of our members here have gone thru this at one time or another given the law of averages in the amount of transactions we go thru. What occurred was out of Gregs control and was certainly UNINTENDED. He has already offered a different laptop at substantial discount and to have payment sent back immediately including cost of postage, via Express mail. That' s as a fair as one can get.

Guys,

Grnamin is an outstanding man. I just met him not long ago and he has went out his way to make my purchase good to go. I appreciate that in a person. We are concluding that deal now (SLOW POSTAL)and he still shipped to me on faith. He has INTEGRITY and so far he has not ruined that with me.

Good to see that it is working out some what.

Refund issued including all my costs and postage:),All issues resolved in a very timely manner and with grace.I want to add grnamins honesty was not in question with me at any time,just his control over the item for sale. I do think in retrospect... that this was a communication problem... mostly on my part.Greg has a right to be annoyed with me and not ever deal with me again thats his choice... but I would deal with him again.
