I been busy for the past couple months working on these knifes for my wedding party (4 groomsmen, 2 ushers and MM of cerimonies). The wedding is this Sat and im just wraping them up! what do you think of them

All blades are D-2, nickel silver bolsters and handle materials range from burls to dymonwoodshttp://webpages.charter.net/ellisonknives/

They look great. I especially like the lines on that large kitchen knife.

Do you need any more groomsmen?

The last time I stood up in a wedding, I got a bottle of good sippin' whiskey as a gift. Which I enjoyed very much... but those knives blow any jug of booze out of the water! You must really have good friends, to give them those.

I don't usually care much for rear bolsters, but you make them look real good.

I shall be attending a wedding later this month . . . and the groomsmens' "gifts" shall be imported 440c katanas. :barf: I'd rather have a flask.

Your knives are outstanding.

Ill have to let you guys know the reactions I get out of them (weather they ike them or not) because most of them dont know that I do this as I havent been doing it long

Well, if they have any appreciation at all for craftsmanship, I'm sure they'll be very pleased! The fact that you made them with your own hands should make them special to your friends.

I presume you have a nice set of whatever knives your bride would like, in the works? If she cooks or camps or hunts or does anything that involves cutting, you better! :D

Nice job Ellison  I'd say you've got a pretty lucky wedding party. I'll go out on a limb and say that they're going to love them. ;)

Great looking knives! Especially since you just started doing this! I didn't see any pics of the turkey or your first knive though.

Your knives look really good and I agree with David, they'll love 'em.

there.........put a couple pics of the turkey back on there (first 2 pics) still working on the first knife pic

HAHA!!!!!
she fell in love with the santuko kitchen knife and the silver black/winewood handle on the drop point knife and is bugging me about making one!

wow, what a turkey. Nice bird too.
You sure caught yourself a keeper, I could never imagine my wife begging me to make her a knife, then again if mine come out as well as yours...
