Groove owners...

Thanks for the post RJ!

It's always great to get that extra info and insight from the actual designer of the knife.

Looking forward to the Tanto Groove.

Any chance (and would it even be feasible) of a composite bladed groove?

Kneedeep: I'm not sure how you are defining "composite blade".

Sorry, I was referring to composite blades like on the Kershaw Tyrade.
I don't know if the grooves would be compatible with the manufacturing process required by the composite blades.

kneedeep: I thought that was what you meant. I don't see it being a problem, and I will definitely address it with Thomas when I visit Kershaw!

BTW, the new, striated Tanto Groove from Kershaw will feature a hollow "ground" blade. This knife promises to really push cutting performance to new levels!

Hi RJ! I love your designs, and wish Kershaw would adopt more of them. I got a Boker catalog and noticed that they have a Rampage. Beautiful!

I really want a Tanto Groove now, since I prefer hollow-ground blades like the Leek. Nice work RJ, and keep em coming!

Hey Thomas, any tanto Grooves without the coating?
