It is true. The Cub Scouts have been fishing and I bought the special "green" night crawlers (5.99 instead of 1.99 for the normal ones). Turns out they feed them with green food coloring (?) or some green dye in the food. They are green and since the bass in the stocked lake across the street are only now about 12=14" long I needed to cut these 8" long night crawlers in half or thirds. Suffice it to say, the Seb is more than a match for a worm. And the blood and guts are a shiny green.

Side by side the green ones caught much more fish than the regular night crawlers. The regular ones wound up with one 6" perch. The green ones had 5 large bass and several (lost count) perch.

Thank goodness the Seb disassembles so easily. The green ooze is all down in it. The other guy who caught worms carries a Buck that is seriously slimed out.

EEEEWWW:barf:

I had a group just last weekend bring green squid on a charter. Didn't notice any difference other than it made a lot more mess. Ugh.

Since I use catfish hearts and blood when we are out on the lake, green doesn't bother me. BTW, the Buck owner still hasn't gotten the goo out:barf: ........ naturally, the Sebenza is like new.:D

I use the same mutant green worms. They seem to work good, but I don't know why. I just pinch 'em apart!:barf:

Oh that's a relief. When I first read your title I though you had accidently stab yourself. Glad you're safe.
