  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Group Camping Cooking Breakfast suggestions?

Spam is a great camping item. Doesnt have to be refrigerated, you can cut it to desired size, can grill it whatever.
Mix that with potatoes and cheese.
Put slices of spam on toast with lettuce and mayo.
I like it with rice but potatos are easier to cook than rice.

hey ray.... What do you mean "filipino style".... How do you use the rice and vinegar? White or brown rice? Sounds awesome!!!

Jake, my wife eats mexican chorizo the traditional mexican way with tortillas. I eat the mexican chorizo with white rice and regular white vinegar on top. I say "filipino style" because filipinos eat rice with just about everything and vinegar is very commonly used as a sauce on top of fried foods. Sometimes garlic is mixed into the vinegar.. YUM:)

My wife is originally mexican and I filipino. Sometimes we eat the same main dish but with different garnishings. There are a few filipino and mexican dishes that are similar or even identical. The difference is how and what you eat it with. Very cool!
