Before I start, mods, feel free to move this. I took a twenty minute drive today... not to go to a knife store, or even a gun store that sells knives; but to a WALMART! (evil, I know, but I'm out in the sticks...) I was hoping to pick up a S30V Native, and maybe even a Sharpmaker. Guess what? Neither were stocked at that WallyWorld!

I was at my local walmart and I was lookin at the native, and the salesman told me they only keep 1 in stock at a time. I have no idea why and if this is the case at all walmarts

Well, I was hoping for a sharpmaker... I actually have no clue if they stock them, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they didn't.

None of the wally worlds in my area that I have checked have the Native either...I am bummed about it...it is a great knife for the money.

Walmarts in Canada don't seem to keep very many of any model in stock, not even the popular ones.

i've only seen the Sharpmaker at a dedicated knife shop

My local Wally's usually have several Natives in stock, I just bought one about a month ago.

Never seen a sharpmaker in a Wally World, the only sharpening stuff they carry is Smiths and sometimes Gerber.

I wish! I moved to college, and it's six hours west of NYC... AKA middle of $%^&* nowhere!

You haven't updated the location in your profile, which shows in every post. If you want to change it go to your User Control Panel, Edit Options, and scroll down a bit and type in your new location. Then go to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.

The change will be retroactive so even your earlier posts in this thread will have the new location and anyone who arrives after this post will think I'm out of my gourd complaining about nothing.
