If I ordered a GRS made by Sher and to his specs how much do you think it would weigh? I am guessing 4 and a half pounds. Now that sounds like a knife- well at least one that will hurt or my back or cut off a toe if I drop it.
Matthew-I'm the ugly one Uncle Bill- just to keep the two of us apart

You can bet that anything made by Sher is going to be on the hefty side. That's the main reason that he's my favorite kami -- I like beefy khuks!

There's certainly not another man of your caliber hereabouts, Matthew

Brave Tiger makes wicked edged sledgehammers; that's the bottom line. No Khukuri Knut's collection is complete without at least one of Sher's indulgences in overkill. I love them too, although I keep mine around the house or in the vehicle as I'm not wild about carrying it with me in the field for long treks. (My pants don't stay up for very long--I end up looking like a gangsta rap star after a mile or two.)

I DO NOT CHOOSE TO BE A COMMON MAN

"It is my right to be uncommon...if I can; I seek opportunity...not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stole calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud, and unafraid; to think and act for myself; enjoy the benefits of my creations and to face the world boldly and say,
This I have done, and this is what it means to be an American."

My AK was made by Sher and weighs 3 and a quarter pounds, and it's only 18 inches long. I can't imagine what it would weigh if it were 21 inches long.
Matthew-the ugly one

When I first stumbled on the forum I wondered why they were always referring to Russian assault rifles ( AK's ).
