As good as that knife looks, I do not believe in large choils on medium to small blades. If it would have been choilless, I would have picked it up as it is a beauty

It's actually the opposite for me. I like choils on small and medium blades because those are the blades I do more detail work with, and that's when I choke up and use a choil. Classic example of why different people favor different knives, and why Busse has a blade for everybody!
