GSM further escalates the embarrassment !

Their description is pretty funny. "Throwing stars are made to be artistic and decorative," they made sure to put in as a caveat to every other sentence talking about how well they work when thrown.

Is that Cold Steel's description of the product or BladeHQ's description? I notice that some of the descriptions on the CS website are completely different from some on the BladeHQ site. So I'm guessing BladeHQ writes their own.

I noticed the "Battle Star" is still listed on the CS website, though not currently available. I don't know if it's been discontinued.

I've never owned any CS throwing stars, never had any interest, still don't.

Even the best ones are mostly just for fun . :)

Most people can get them to stick in target, with little practice , unlike throwing knives or hawks .

These "shuriken" look like something from a video game or very bad martial arts movie.

CS was the only company making decent shuriken in the past decade and a half. All other good shuriken were handmade and expensive.

It looks like they took a moronic design from a flea market "martial arts" store.

Hopefully they won't replace their knives and swords with flea market weapons.

I can see it now, selling those really bad knockoff of the old Ontario Black Wind swords or those ridiculous fantasy swords covered with spikes or small blades and using them to replace their current swords and claiming they are improvements.:D

Are we really making fun of the practicality of a cold steel product, a company that made promotional videos hacking apart pig carcasses to metal music?
