Any less of a point would make it a spey point blade. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe the gso 10 was intended for kayaking. I see it as more of a all around camp chore wood processor. Built to be agile enough to do small task required of it but at the same time large and heavy enough to handle medium to light end heavy use.

So I just took a look at the site, like actually read stuff about the new 10 instead of drooling over the pics.

It states: "Out of Stock. Scheduled to be in stock in late 2015."

Up until now I thought it was open for preorder like the starter stuff, but it looks like it won't open until it is actually ready to go snd in stock. It's safer for my wallet and I this way!

If any is looking for the second run of GSO 10's I have one for sale right now. It's my wife's and she has never used it other than to draw the knife out of the sheath and put it back in. Got it in the exchange...
