I did open a couple of packages and shaved a bit on a 2X4 to test featherstick making. Great knife- perfect size for EDC, comfortable grip and nice sheath. I bought it to see what the GSO fuss was all about and I get it now. I just end up carrying one of my customs and this sits. Might as well move it on. Reading about these, I feel certain it is a "second" though I see nothing wrong with it.

Don't mean to clutter you sale post.. Does it say 'Factory 2nd' under the Flag on the other side? If it doesn't, it's not a second

Thank you for asking- there is nothing written under the flag. I do not know much about GSO knives, I did read that most of what was released were 2nds and figured I would mention that- better to under advertise and over deliver ;)
