GSO 8: who ordered it ?

It's been a while without a GSO 8 thread... And I am eagerly waiting for that blade.
So who else ordered one (or more ?)

I ordered two :eek:

- One with black and red g10
- One with green canvas

Let's try to get this one in early production ! :D
 
So, I haven't ordered it yet. But I will! Trying to space out my knife purchases a bit, and I'm waiting for the 5.1 general release to drop first!
 
I'm very tempted by the 8 or the 10... i just may get one but haven't decided yet... I haven't heard in a while, but does anyone know where the "remaining GSO knives" (non-starters) currently stand as far as pre-orders? I wonder where the 8 stands as of today

Agree there, I just meant Ellie had mentioned one time the current preorder levels. So I was just curious where there were now. I believe they're planning to do the most popular first, like they did with the starters.
 
For good or bad (depending on your POV on which model you want) the current order might influence pre-orders which then would influence which gets made first - if my assumption on their ordering is correct

I have got to get this done. The Busse Blitz hit me hard, I've been waiting too long on a Ratweiler to have passed them up, so two of those on order. And like nils, I know the 5.1s are coming and am trying to free up funds for that in the midst of the wife's birthday yesterday, and Christmas coming up ARRRGGGHHHHH! I thought about trying to go with "Guess what Honey? I love you so much I preordered you the GSO 8" but my will to live stopped me.

Not the ratweiler that bit me hard but a few others, I was buoyed by the knowledge that i wanted the GSO 6 and that wasn't going to "pop" for a while....then those damn 5.1's came out so sexy.... I definitely feel your pain!

Of course I can't actually find where Ellie said it, but I thought the 8 was bringing up the rear with the 10 in the middle and the 6 and 4.5 tied for first. ORDER THOSE 6'S, PEOPLE!!!!!!

Oh and get an 8 too!


I have to say I absolutely love the idea that Guy is making a model based on our input and wants. I just need to let some funds rejuvenate before I can get back in spending mode.

Yes, yes they did!! I wanted one anyway, but dang they look nice.

I couldn't find it either, but that seems right, the 8 was bringing up the rear :(

I'm soooo looking to use that one.
 
The 3.5 is in the line up with the starters. It should be right after the 7/7.

I really want an 8 bad. I have a few things in front of it. Og 3.5 and a 4.5 are a must for me first. Christmas is here, lots of family stuff coming. I hope I can get in on this before it starts.

It's definitely next on the list. I think it'll have to wait till after Christmas though. That's still plenty of time for me to change my mind a million times over what handles and sheath to pick.
 
I have an 8 on order, and it was the first pre-order I had made after learning that the pre-orders were being reinstated at S! Then I ordered a 6 and another 4.1. I hope the 8 thread works to get the numbers up and results in a bump in the production order. I have a 7/7 with a false grind and a 10, so I think the 8 is going to fill a clear gap in my larger knife lineup.
