GSO 8: who ordered it ?

Sorry Rodger, at least now we know! From the production page:

Once models start production they will no longer be available for preorder. Production will begin on the remaining models in the following order:

GSO-3.5
GSO-12
GSO-4.5 Bushcraft Knife
GSO-6
GSO-10
GSO-8
Necker and Necker IIs

Lol my grandmother started growing those several years ago. Over the years several of my family members and friends of the family have got tree limb trimmings and grow them to their own tree. This is one of them, its my cousins tree. This was earlier this year. I have made several pitchers of lemonade of a few of the trees. Very sweet fruit on these lemon trees. I don't use anything but the lemons and water.

If my math is right all I need is 3,780 cups of lemonade at .05¢ a piece to make enough to get a bushcraft 4.5

Only lemons and water? That's great - I'd buy a cup! :-)

Nice! I remember seeing that pic in another thread, so cool.

But if you sell your lemonade for $189 per cup, you only have to sell one to have enough money for a 4.5 :D

I could add a dash of vodka for an extra $1.00 but till I find my liquor license in a cracker jack box my hands are tied.

Lol silver. Call it inflation.

I fully intend to order an 8. However, it is far enough out I can wait.

I have a question about the GSO 8. Would it be comparable to the Rodent 9, or Junglas?

I'm not really familiar with either, but if rodent 9 means a 9 inch blade then the GSO 8 will be an inch shorter than the rodent and 2 inches shorter than the junglas. If you want a quicker answer try googling the specs of each blade. I know there are some current or past rodent and ESEE owners here who can be more useful than myself.

Final answer: just buy an 8 :)

Definitely smaller than the Junglas but it'll be a good thing for a lot of people.

Junglas vs. GSO 10

I can't get over the difference in handle size between the two knives. You took that pic, right? I feel like I've seen it before in a Google search!

Yeah I had the Junglas first but it was sold real quick after receiving the 10. They're both phenomenal knives but I really liked the 3v compared to the 1095. I had to sharpen the Junglas after every use and it was a pain because it's a big ass knife. The GSO 10 stayed stupid sharp even after cutting the same material.
