Dudes, if you're being serious, I would not get your hopes up for a preorder. If you do a little reading in the forums and on Facebook about SURVIVE! in the last year, you'd see that the last (first, only) round of preorders almost killed Guy and his business. Because of anxious, impatient, uninformed, rageful customers and their steady streams of complaints it became a really tough situation for the company. Those who are asking about preorders now may be reasonable and patient individuals, but in the past there were many customers who couldn't handle the long wait and expected Guy to halt every aspect of improving and growing his company in order to focus solely on finishing the preorders. Rant over =)

I just hope Guy gets the GSO 8 done
To tell you the truth it's been a while I have been excited about a new knife design
The GSO 8 could be my grail knife
 
Frankly, if it just ends up being a scaled-down version of the 10, without the aggressive handle indexing and with a 90 degree spine, I'll be happy as a pig in $#!+.
 
I think we've pretty much already got confirmation that Guy is working on such a design. No need to rush things. It'll come out when it's just about perfect. :)

I may need (want) no...need one of the GSO 8's when they come out too. Highly anticipated. I get it. We all do.

I just spoke with Guy this week and let me tell you, I was impressed. He stopped his grinding wheel to speak to me. Who does that these days?

This is why Survive will Survive and always take care of their people. If you've never practiced patience before, this might be a turning point in your life. Take it as a lesson to learn to change. The reward is something very special.

Oh and BTW for all those that have already jumped ship because they don't want to wait any longer...instant gratification is for morons. That's all I got for now.

Any Idea when can we order GSO knives again ? Anything from 5.1 to7/7 and

The best thing to do is follow them on Facebook, subscribe to the newsletter and just try to keep your ear to the streets.
Until supply starts to catch up to demand, we're all watching like hawks and swooping on any as soon as they pop up.
 
Bump back to the top, I'm looking for this (purposed) exact blade. If they do get built, consider 1 more knife sold.
 
Guy by "industry standard thickness" I hope maybe you mean the bigger knives might get thicker 😎.

Longer than the old version. Does this satisfy any of you hooligans?
