Does anybody know if we will be able to order replacement handles for the GSO 5.1 (mid-size knives) or 3.1 after the Starter campaign? It's my understanding that the new handles for the Starter series will not fit on the older versions.

They don't seem to be supporting backwards compatibility with knife scales.

The new spec handles will not fit the old spec knives. We are not planning to continually produce materials for the old versions of the knives. However, if there are continued requests for certain items, we will do what we can to get more made.

With that being said, I have been noticing this question popping up in a few different places. I believe we will open up ordering for the old spec mid sized handles now, to give us a better idea of how many more to make.

We definitely do not have any GSO-10 handles around of any kind. You are not the only person to have asked though. Whenever we get caught up on other things we will likely do a small run of micarta handles for the GSO-10. But I can't make any guarantees on when.

I would love some black micarta scales for my GSO 10! Unfortunately the my Orange G10 is far too slippery for my taste.
