Any opinions formed of this knife yet? I'm interested in purchasing a moderately priced auto...3-4in blade. The GT looks like it has potential, "Soldier of Fortune" has a very impressive article about this knife, but I haven't seen it in person. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Salmon - The handle is one of the coolest things about that knife. It may look a little strange at first, but wait till you wrap your hand around it - very comfortable. All edges have been rounded, so there's really no sharp corners at all. The matching pocket clip is kinda funky, but difficult to clip to jeans because it is not easily as adjustable as a regular steel one. Another thing I like about the handle is the integral guard. Definitely keeps your hand in place. Overall the knife is quite solid thanks to its all aluminum construction and action is fluid. GT's manufacturing quality is up there with Benchmade and MicroTech IMHO.

I've owned a GT for a while now. It is VERY well made. Yes, the clip is different -- seems to be ridgid, almost no flexto it but holds well. If you have a normal , strong thumb you'll have no trouble opening it. The release also serving as the pivot is very well done, but I find it hard to open (not fair for me to mention, I'm handicapped with very bad hands, no one I've let try it has complained). I like the Benchmade Auto Stryker better, only because I can open it easier. Do the right thing -- BUY BOTH! You won't be sorry.
