Just got a very nice knife from gtopper. He shipped immediately after the PP funds arrived.
The Priority mail box had one side ripped out of it, and I thought the knife might have been stolen. I was wrong. gtopper had used plenty of tape so that, even with one side ripped out, the box was still pretty secure. The manufacturer's box (inside) had been completely disassembled and refolded and stuck back inside along with the "birthday card" and other paperwork. There was NO damage to my purchased goods. The knife was still in there, wrapped in tissue and taped securely. Everything came through 100%.
I suspect that an automatic machine had somehow damaged this box, as a human could have opened it, with a knife, much more easily and neatly. And because gtopper knew how to wrap and ship a knife in a secure fashion, both of us have been saved from a nasty situation.
