Sorry if this doesn't come out right or is confusing. Bad rollover accident last week and I have confusion from a head injury.

I am getting help while im down with a guard for my power hammer LG 25. Is 3/4 inch (I think 9 gauge) expanded metal a good size for a guard?
Thanks

9 Gauge is .125" fyi.

Not sure if it is good Material just adding info for someone more experienced. ;)

EDIT: I was in a hurry this AM. I think it is actually .156" .

That should work. It doesn't have to be heavy duty. Just so it will protect you if anything flies out of the front.

I used two pieces of expanded metal, overlapped so the diamonds on one cut the other piece in half. Now the holes are smaller and the strength is higher.
