Unique for automatic knives, the AMBI X-FACTOR operates on a roller chain with dual push buttons. (Only one push button functions at a time). You have to modify the knife to switch it to left hand use by removing a couple of screws. Features Anodized Aluminum Handles with a lanyard hole at the base. (measures 6" closed). Auto Action for a such a behemoth is surprisingly superfast. Lockup is rock solid. Easily the largest side opener currently manufactured. Outfitted with a Stonewash finished modified tanto blade made of CPM-154 Stainless that measures 4 1/8" (3 3/4" cutting edge) and is extra wide (1 5/8") at it's widest point. Pocket clip is fully ambidextrous for right or left hand use.
Measures a stunning 10 1/4" overall open, yet it fits in your pocket comfortably. The blade pivots on a permanently lubricated ball bearing washer system which is made of ceramic. Model name and manufacturer are concealed on the inside of the handle.. A very unique piece; it is the only knife that features a ball bearing and chain link automatic mechanism.
