Greetings to all. This is my first foray into online sales as far as forums go. I'm not a well known smith but I recieved my Journeyman stamp from the American Bladesmith Society this year at the Blade Show. I don't take orders nor visit any shows really, I'd rather go flyfishing or just make knives! Anyway, I'm more into the 19th cen. or earlier style knives and just follow my nose when I'm out at the forge...

Visit my little knife page if you like...

The five journeyman's knives I submitted for judging... some of which are for sale.

And this, which is for sale.... A guardless Bowie of 5160 approx. 8.5 inch blade with nickel silver ferrule and hafted in persentation grade ( I get it for a custom gunstock maker...) Walnut. A nice camp knife ready for use. No scabbard.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out how it could possibly be improved...and coming up dry. EXCEPTIONAL work!

That's one hell of a knife Mitch. I love the guardless look. That's a great price too, wish I had the money.

I'm sure this is already sold :), it's a great deal.

no, not sold; still here but I've only had it up a since yesterday. Maybe someone will take me up on it this weeK! :)

regards, mitch

Beautiful work Mitch - absolutely clean in design and execution. If I didn't have several inbound orders this month I'd be happy to give it a home.

Everyone, you need to watch out for this guy's work---as word spreads, he's going to become very much in demand.

I received this knife today (had to sacrifice an old favorite for cash, but any sadness went away when I opened this package) and am blown away by everything about it. The handle grabs me, because it literally grabs me! It is very simple in its design so you can grip it about any way you want, but is flared and contoured in such a way that I feel like it's as reluctant to slip from my grasp as I am to let it.
The grinds are perfect.
The blade very beefy and sturdy but also very alive and quick for its size.
Fit and finish is awesome.
This knife came SHARP.

And, to top it all off, the package came to me with my address so beautifully penned that I'm half tempted to cut the front of the box out and save it! :D

Thank you very much, Mitch. I can promise you it'll be well loved.

Warren
