I haven't posted a knife in awhile. I call this my "Piper EDC", it's fairly popular.

Aldo 1084 smooshed into knifelike shape
Differentially Heat treated with a "hamon" showing, 3x temper
600x hand-rubbed finish
SS corby and tube
Stabilized Pollyana burl handle

7 7/8" Overall Length
3 5/8" Cutting edge
5/32" At widest tapering to 1/16" at butt

Edited to add: I know it looks like the tang stands proud of the handle, it's a function of angle, just noticed it when I looked at pics here.

Comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Will, nice job! Your now officially out of you knifemaking funk? I bet you feel better now.

Thanks Ray.... yeah, got a little "stocking stuffers" project, either these will sell or I'll be giving them as Christmas presents to the family ;) Got to finish up my stepdaughter's 7" belt knife (reenactor) but I've got time to piddle with that.

Oh yeah, I built my own version of Godzilla :D

Thats Great! What did you name your critter?

That looks well done. Nice attention to subtle details.

Hay Will love that forward plunge.Every time I try that I have to reprofile the whole knife.
very nice work.

Great job on the knife. Will: Thanks for showing it to use. :D

My wife thought it was very similar to a Fisk Sendero, I emailed him about it and he said that he got the idea for the handle from a very old French trade knife. Feel free to use it, I'd be honored if a maker such as yourself thought it worthy of copying. :D
