Rules:
It's basically a rolling giveaway, one person posts a pic of a part of a knife and everyone has the opportunity to guess the knife. The person posting the pic can specify how much detail is needed, name, model#, blade configuration, scale type/colour etc.

I thought I would post the first pic, give everyone a week then my random number generator (my wife) would pick a lucky winner If after a couple of days everyone is miles off then I'll post another pic.

Here's the catch! If you enter an answer you have to be prepared to offer up a pic of part of the next mystery knife and a knife as a prize as well. So on it goes....

I was the lucky winner of round 2 and now I'm offering up a new knife to win. I decided to go with a less known knife that I hadn't posted any pictures of on the forum so I am only going to ask for the brand (not necessarily the company that made it), pattern type, blade configuration, and scale type.

Brand:
Pattern Type:
Blade Config:
Scale Type:

I'll monitor the thread and will announce if someone guesses correctly. If I don't see a correct guess after 4 days I will post a hint.

Now here is the knife you can win, a Queen slim trapper 11EO with nicely dyed carved stag bone and a stainless blade. It is unused, unsharpened, and comes with the original box.

Now here is the knife to guess:

You could certainly make a living taking photographs of Sasquatches and the Loch Ness Monster- :p
Now is that delrin? An old case or Kabar maybe?

I am going to give this one a shot:

BRAND: KABAR
PATTERN TYPE SERPENTINE JACK
BLADE CONFIGURATION: CLIP and SPEY
HANDLE MATERIAL DERLIN

:D
I probably shouldn't admit that I was able to get such a fuzzy, ambiguous picture in just one shot. I thought it would take me a few photos but I'm apparently a worse photographer than even I thought!

New to knives so all may laugh at my guess but I am going to say a Boker stockman with jig bone

If second guess are allowed - a boker jack on stockman frame, clip and sprey, with jig bone. My final answer.

Kabar serpentine jack, Clip and pen blades with delrin handles. Shot in the dark here, thanks for the chance.

The matchstrike nick is really throwing me. Camillus serpentine jack (clip and pen), delrin?

The matchstrike nick is really throwing me...

Good, good.

Come on guys, swing for the fences, throw some more good guesstimates out here.

Obviously the toughest part of this one is the brand. Think outside the box of what you normally see posted around here.

I'm going to give a clue early:

This knife brand was a higher quality product from a traditionally low price cutlery.
