Here is what the ole Texas Jack looks like at a normal angle. It is pretty similar dimension wise to a Case 6292, square bolsters and all.

 
Nice work, I've never even heard of that branding before (not that that means anything :D)
 
Ha! I just spent a good half hour trying to figure this out (I wasn't going to get it right but I was thinking Old Cutler). I shouldn't have stopped reading after that second hint.
