Ok...

So, modded obviously. First person to accurately guess what this knife is, may win some lanyards and maybe some Jeep Junk!! :foot:

{Ban, Jeremy, OP, ddaungrat and Knife Hunter excluded :grumpy:}

Is it a Busse or a rat? Looks like an old-school Ratweiler to me. The red liner looks fantastic under the hand-shaped slabs. Looks like Horton's work to me.

by the way, how was the get-together today? Hope y'all had a blast. Be sure and post some pics of you guys beating on that SH.

That's one sweet mod, and a nice take on an old classic.

The old-school RW has been my go-to blade for hiking excursions lately. :thumbup:

Oh jeepers. That was too easy. I figured it was something heavily modded to fool us. It CLEARLY looked like "weeler" blade.

The fix was in. I demand a rematch! LOL

That wasn't a guess. The choil guard gave that one away clear as day. :D

You're right. :D

Plus, I think I already got my karma for the week, and you need a couple more lanyard for all that INFI stuck in that monstrous stump of yours.:thumbup:

Guyon...when you die, can I have tour stump?;):D

I know where 7 or 8 more of those hickory stumps reside. If you'll pay for UPS shipping, we might can work something out. :p

Honestly, a huge hickory went down in my neighborhood. The trunk was sectioned and left to sit in a guy's yard nearby. I kept eyeballing the sections every time I drove past, and finally, I stopped in one day to ask the yard's owner about them. He said he wanted to make some furniture out of the wood, but noted I was welcome to one of the sections if I wanted it. So I hooked up the utility trailer and went over there one weekend morning. The section (about 4 feet tall) turned out to be way too heavy to roll up the ramp by myself. So I went home, got my small Poulan, and started cutting. Thing is, the saw wasn't quite long enough to go all the way to the center of the log. So back home I went to get a longish hand saw to finish the cut. Even one half of the section tested my axle, I think. Good thing I didn't have to drive far.
