It took me quite a while before I realized what I was looking at. My wife would ask "What's that?" "I have no idea" "Looks like a bouy" "Or a pile of radially-symmetrical poop" - my suggestion
So, without being asked, I came up with the redraw above.
I apologize if I have offended in making this redraw, just thought it would help those who are still "staring"...

I'll hafta update my profile with that smoooth one. I drew that pic about 10 years ago in the digital realm, which was much more limited in graphics capabilities.
